After much anticipation we can commence: opening five minutes of Stranger Things' final season unveiled.

The final installment of Netflix's otherworldly blockbuster the hit series is set to be one of the biggest releases of 2024. The initial episodes debuts on the 27th of November, however a preview of the chilling initial moments has been released online.

The Crawl: An Echo to the 1980s

This installment, called The Crawl, takes fans back to the start of the series in the early '80s, following the disappearance of the young character.

"Should I stay or should I go?" the character hums as he tries to keep calm in the parallel world.

The second part of the ultimate installment will air on the day after Christmas, and the series finale out on New Year's Day – which will also be presented in select movie theaters.

Plot Summary

The summary explains: "The season of 1987. The town is damaged by the emergence of dimensional tears, and the main characters come together by a single goal: find and kill the enemy. Yet he has vanished – where he is and schemes unclear. Complicating their mission, officials has put Hawkins under military quarantine and intensified the pursuit for Eleven, pushing her into seclusion. As the commemoration of the boy's vanishing approaches, arrives a heavy, known fear. The final battle is approaching – and with it, an evil mightier and more deadly than anything else they've faced before. To conclude this horror, it will take everyone – the full party – united, one last time."

The unannounced footage was uploaded to YouTube after the series' Los Angeles premiere recently, with appearances from cast members including the lead actress and another key actor.

"The scope of this installment is larger … It's more action and more special effects, but it is additionally without a doubt the most emotional season since it's the end of the story for each of these personas," the show's head writer, recently said regarding the concluding installments.

His brother and partner, stated: "Releasing it in the world is nerve-racking, however we are prepared to finally show it."
