Salah Extends Apology to Teammates, Says Curtis Jones
The Liverpool midfielder has revealed that the Egyptian forward apologised to the group of players following the uproar from his televised remarks.

The striker was dropped from a key Champions League match after voicing frustrations and claiming his relationship with manager had broken down.
“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” the midfielder said. “He apologised to us and was like: ‘If I’ve affected anybody, I apologise.’”
The manager has refused to disclose on whether he was apologised to from the veteran striker.
Moving Forward
Jones insisted that the dressing room atmosphere remained positive. “He was his usual self, he was smiling and it was business as usual,” the midfielder explained.
The midfielder also implied that a competitor wanting to play is preferable. “I get that there are different methods you can handle situations,” he said. “However, if a player is content to just not start, then I think that’s concerning.”
Team Form
Their results have stayed unbeaten in the games following the situation. The player is convinced the forward's comments were never meant to harm the team.
“When there’s been any sort of anger, it has consistently come from a desire to win,” the midfielder stated. “We’re past that now and we’re building chemistry, getting results and starting to win games.”
