The former president's Family Member Seeks Expert Advice from Golf Legend Woods Ahead of Professional Golf First Appearance

Emerging athlete getting ready for major tournament

The rising star has substantial online following

The young golfer will have multiple well-known cheerleaders when she starts her LPGA debut this Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be the granddaughter of a former US president, received a sponsor's invitation to play at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.

The former president, a passionate golfer, possesses multiple golf courses and regularly matches against his granddaughter.

"He's quite skilled. I shouldn't elaborate but we play some close matches," she mentioned.

The golfer shared that her grandfather, who won't be present, told her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"He essentially told me to compete and have fun," she added.

"From my perspective, he's simply an ordinary family member. He won't be there this weekend. He's focused on world affairs, making him somewhat preoccupied."

While still amateur, the golfer has competed in only three events this year and maintains position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.

However she can seek guidance from Tiger Woods, romantically involved with Kai's mother.

"He stands as the top athlete globally," Kai expressed.

"And he's a more impressive individual. He told me to play, have fun, following the flow."

Kai will face some of most prominent players in professional golf at this tournament, such as world number two Nelly Korda, British Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

Tournament organizers commented that her participation brings the sport to wider groups, especially with younger fans.

The social media influencer boasts substantial online presence and has started an exclusive clothing and lifestyle company.

She begins at 5:30 PM GMT.
